People Action Trust (PAT), an NGO founded by a few service minded friends over 28 years ago, ha been engaged in various welfare projects for the betterment of malnourished children, ignorant destitute women often on the throes of despair and dejection, and for extending a helping hand to the helpless elders and addicts belonging to Krishnagiri and Tirupathur District recently bifurcated from Vellore District. Apart from these, with a view to rescue the increasing no. of alcoholics and drug addicts and to provide the requisite treatment for their cure and rehabilitation, PAT is also running an Integrated Rehabilitation Centre for Addicts (IRCA) at Krishnagiri.
